 Jen is a dedicated Doctor of Acupuncture who grew up immersed in the medical field due to growing up with a chronically ill mother.

Surrounded by doctors and medications from a young age, pursuing a career in nursing initially seemed like the obvious path. Her extensive experience spans working in long-term care and palliative care facilities, as well as in home care and doctor's offices, where she witnessed people in all stages of health, illness, birth, and death.

Feeling overwhelmed by the state of the health care system, Jen felt a calling to work in a field that truly cared for people's minds, bodies, and spirits, rather than merely masking their symptoms. She sought to address the root of her patients health problems and discovered her true path in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her search for a more holistic approach led her to MacEwan University’s Acupuncture program. From her first reading on the modality, she knew she had found her Dharma, her life's purpose.

Specializing in acupuncture for chronic pain, mental health, and esoteric acupuncture, Dr. Jen is passionate about integrating evidence-based acupuncture with the spiritual aspects of energy medicine. She believes in the profound connection between the physical and spiritual dimensions of health and is dedicated to combining these elements in her practice.

Jen is excited to bring her experience in conventional medicine, her love of Eastern philosophy, and her passion for natural healing to the residents of Sherwood Park and the greater Edmonton area. She strives to provide a unique, heartfelt, and gentle healing experience specialized to address and balance the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
